Dear Tina,

For us it took longer to be matched the second time, but I wouldn’t trade my son for anything. Everyone I have spoken with has been very friendly and helpful, especially Debbie. (Tina, you already know that I think highly of you!). I also like how you match the perfect baby for each adoptive family. My daughter looks a lot like me – we’ll see about our son! I truly enjoyed my conversations with Debbie. She was very prompt in returning my calls and very considerate. I would love to one day meet her!

NOTE FROM TINA: Tim & Christine weren’t unusual in that when they did their second adoption, they preferred to have a baby of the opposite gender. This can and does increase the wait time since many birth mothers don’t know the gender of the baby they are carrying until after they have already selected a family. However, as Christine said, there is a perfect baby for each adoptive family and while some have short waits, others have longer ones, especially when there are gender preferences or specifics which make the right situation a little harder to find. We’re happy to do the search and no matter how long it takes, it’s always worth it in the end! :D
