Dear Tina,

Thanks for sticking with us for the entire journey! We had quite a ride. It was a difficult journey for us, but well worth it! Taylor Hope is the joy of our lives and we love her with all our hearts. It’s wonderful finally becoming parents. You were all great. There was someone in the office all the time to talk to or get an update. There was even someone to cry with us when needed! Thanks for not letting us give up!

NOTE FROM TINA: Kris and Misty endured a great deal in their journey to become parents. Infertility can be quite stressful, but added to that, during their first attempt at adoption, they came so close, but their baby was born extremely premature and passed away at the hospital. They named her “Hope” and even though they knew that she would not survive, they made a long trip to another state and went to the hospital to see/visit her. They are the most courageous and giving couple I have ever had the privilege to meet. They welcomed Hope and gave her comfort and she knew they were there for her. Even at their own emotional toll, they did what they thought was right for the baby they had come to think of as their child. That is really what parenthood is all about. Love equals sacrifice and they certainly did that. In the end, they didn’t give up, despite feeling heartsick. There is a happy ending with the birth of Taylor Hope, who carries the name of an angel.
