It is hard to believe that our little boy is already 14 months old. It seems like just yesterday we decided adoption was how we were going to build our family

Our adoption process started like so many others, paperwork, homestudy, Dear Birthparents letter, and the waiting pool at our agency. Impatient to begin with, we knew a two-year wait with our agency just wouldn't work for us. We needed to find a way to expedite the adoption. After much research and prayer, our search led us to Tina Tyra. We were anxious and scared, but knew this was the direction we were to go in. Our birthparents were out there somewhere and we needed help finding them.

Tina told us that we would probably be matched in about 7-9 months, since our state limited the expenses we could pay for the birthmother. Diligently, I called Tina at the beginning of each month for updates. Much to our surprise - only three and a half months after signing the paperwork - we received the call we had been waiting for...we were picked! Tina was very honest about the match and for the next two weeks, she helped us with contacting an attorney in the birthparents' state, gave us very sound advice on dealing with the hospital, and was there to support us along the way. Then on December 29, our son was placed in our arms! This was truly a match made in heaven.

Even after the placement, Tina was there for us to make sure everything was done correctly and timely. Because of Tina, our dreams have come true. We have the most beautiful son! He brings so much joy into so many lives. His smile lights up a room and his laugh is music to our ears! He is such a blessing and proof that God does answer prayers!

When the time is right for us to expand our family we will be contacting her again. We had such a wonderful experience the first time! Keep doing the fantastic work you do, it is truly a Labor of Love! You make so many dreams come true!
