Congratulations! You have taken steps to begin the process of adoption. I would like to share with you a little about our service. I hope that the following information will answer some of your questions about A Labor of Love Adoptions, myself, and the adoption process in general.

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Tina Tyra. I have been involved in the field of adoption for over eight years. Before that, my background was in the medical field, mostly labor and delivery. I am a trained counselor for neo-natal, pre- and post-abortion issues. I have previous experience with two facilitating services and a licensed adoption agency. I am currently running my own facilitating service, which is affiliated with a licensed domestic and international agency. We do not discriminate. If you can obtain a completed home study in your state, you are eligible to adopt!

We are an advertising service, helping to connect birth mothers with prospective adoptive parents, such as yourselves. We advertise nation-wide, primarily in yellow page directories, but also in newspapers, magazines, and various other mediums. Our extensive advertising budget enables us to match clients generally very quickly. Our ads reach millions of people across the United States! After you are matched with an appropriate birth mother, we will work with your own agency or attorney, who will be responsible for the legal aspects of your adoption. Over the years, I have developed an expansive network of trusted adoption professionals around the country who can be called upon in the event that your birth mother is located in another state. With national advertising available, there is no reason to wait a long period of time to find a local birth mother.

In closing, let me say that I would enjoy working with you to help you attain your goal of adopting a child. I am the mother of three children and I have experienced the heartbreak of repeated miscarriage and fetal demise and can fully understand the depth of your desire to become parents.
